Lighthouses

Privacy policy

Updated 2026-10-16

Lighthouses collects no personal data. Below is what the app, Apple and this site do with data.

Who publishes the app

Lighthouses is published by Michał Sadurski, the controller of the data described here. Contact: puzzlebox@kiwiprojekt.pl.

The app collects no data

Lighthouses has no accounts and no analytics, advertising, tracking or crash-reporting tools, and it doesn't connect to the internet. We receive nothing about how, when or how much you play.

What stays on your device

Your progress, solve times, hints used, streak, unfinished games and settings are stored on your iPhone, and only the app reads them. They are included in the backups you make of your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes them.

Notifications

If you turn on the daily reminder, iOS schedules it on your iPhone. Nothing is sent to us or to any server.

Sharing a result

When you share a daily result, the app makes the image and text and hands them to the iOS share sheet. You choose where they go; we don't see them.

Apple

You get Lighthouses through the App Store or TestFlight, under Apple's terms and privacy policy. In the beta, TestFlight gives us the crash reports and feedback you choose to send, with your device model and iOS version, and the name and email address Apple has for you if you were invited by email. If you agree in your device's settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple gives us aggregate usage statistics and crash reports that don't identify you. The app has no purchases.

This website

This site uses no cookies, analytics or third-party content; its fonts are served from this site. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address to serve the pages and protect them from abuse (Cloudflare's privacy policy).

If you email us

We use your address and message only to answer you, and delete them once they're no longer needed for that. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)). Cloudflare forwards email for this address to a mailbox provided by Google (Gmail).

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, its correction or its deletion, or object to its processing, by writing to puzzlebox@kiwiprojekt.pl. You can also complain to the data protection authority of your country; in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).

Children

Lighthouses is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, children included.

Changes

If this policy changes, we update this page and its date. If a version of the app were to start collecting data, this policy would say so before that version is released.
